Your rails appear to be a solution for building the mechanical slides for a micro 3D printer, CNC, or laser cutter. What is missing is hardware to attach servos. The mechanical elements inside of a CDROM, show a method of construction. Putting the threads on the rail and the putting a screw on a servo allows for direct drive without pulleys and belts. Any change to could offer some of this in the future.

One 3D printer. Your rails could make it cheaper.

Prcersion 10 mm bars that are straight, strong & reasonably priced have a lot of uses. From building a portabl work bench with dovetail rails on edges & top that serve as clamp points.

A light duty lathe, drill press or mill could be built from them a well.

I see an open road in their future.
